A CITY WITHIN A SYSTEM

“A City Within a System” is the title of my 3D collage. The goal of this project was to create a hybrid reality, combining small scale intricate steel systems with large scale framing in order to construct a narrative explaining our position on steel as a material. 

My collage combines international style framing with computer components to contruct a narrative that maps out architectural discourse as a part to a whole. The city is representative of architecture and its impact on our everyday lives, specifically how stagnation of parts in this system can impose negative effects on a community.
